Pocketcloud Windows Companion Service Stopping
Pocketcloud Windows Companion Service Stopping
any idea why the pocketcloud windows service might be stopping and making my computer appear offline to my iPad?
I was able to log in fine using discovered communications to the desktop from home using my iPad,
I then tried the VNC version to see what that looked like, but it said "loading" for longer than usual, so I hit the "cancel" button. After doing that, my computer then appeared offline to pocketcloud on my iPad and was unreachable.
I arrive at work this morning to see what happened and see that the pocket service isn't running. Did canceling my VNC login via Pocketcloud somehow cause the service to stop on the desktop?

A new version of windows companion software (v2.1.1) is available for download. Please try to see if this issue is fixed

I went into windows administrative tools and set this service to "recover" and restart if it shuts down... hopefully this cures the issue.
