Windows companion or iPad app will recognize my google id for autodiscovery

Every time I enter my google I'd on my iPad to try and set up auto discovery it automatically closes the app. When I try to set up the windows companion online it says my google id is invalid. Can someone please help me fix this or help me get my $15 back.

Check that you are entering the gmail.com domain in your username. i.e. myusername@gmail.com

There is an issue where if your username has a space i.e."Peter Brown" you need to enter the computer domain in the connection Domain field. If you are not a domain user, you need to enter your "Computer's Name" in the domain field.
