DVI to HDMI video capture

I'm in the process of developing training videos for on our new WYSE C10LE and part of the process involves capture video using the WYSE's DVI port and connecting it to my video capture cards HDMI (I have a cable adapter). I'm using the AverMedia C027 HDMI capture card. I can capture video from other devices but with the WYSE terminal I only get a black screen.... all drivers etc are updated to the latest versions.
