SSL: Unable to setup connection (err=5914)
Hi,
Sometime the thin client cannot connect to the login server with the below errors. It would be working if I reboot it several times. May I know what is the meaning of the below message?
SSL: Error ERR_TCP_CONNECT_ERROR!
SSL: Unable to setup connection (err=5914)
Thanks

This simply means "Citrix Sign on Failed"
This error is caused by a change to the way XenDesktop handles connections, you have to specifically point the Xenith units to the "legacy" URL.
Previously your XEN.INI file might have looked like this with XenDesktop 5.6:
pnliteserver=MYDDC.domain
However, with XenDesktop 7 it needs to look like this:
pnliteserver=MYDDC.domain/.../config.xml
This URL can be found in the Citrix StoreFront under
StoreFront > Stores > Configure Legacy Support
There's a checkbox (Enable legacy support) there as well that you'll want to make sure is checked.
