BSOD: upgrading Z90D7 to BZB0_7064_16GB

Wyse Z90D7 / 4GB RAM / 16GB Flash / Bios v3.0S

I recieved the blue screen of death STOP: 0x00000080 (0x00000057, 0x00000059, 0x00000053, 0x00000003) after upgrading from BZB0_0858_8192 (Bios v2.0C) to BZB0_7064_16GB (Bios v3.0S) using the Dell_Wyse_USB_Imaging_Tool_v3.0.0. I am flashing both the Bios and Image that came with the 7064 build. Any help would be much appriciated.

I have the same problem with one of my two Z90D7 devices. Did you find a solution to the problem?

Which image are you upgrading from?

Some of the older images used Sata Mode = IDE whereas the newer images use Sata Mode = AHCI. If you are receiving a BSOD error 0x0000007B, then check that the Sata Mode within the BIOS is set to AHCI.

I'm using Wyse Model Zx0 w/ part #: 909603-21L and they have been upgraded with 16GB flash and running  BZB0_0858_8192 with no issues. The new 16GB flash boots much faster than the stock 8GB flash. The newer image BZB0_7064_16GB comes with BIOS upgrade to ver 3.0S and they have a default AHCI set in the bios. I also had no luck upgrading to BZB0_0895_16GB. No luck when the bios is set to IDE or AHCI. Thanks for your reply and any assistance you can provide.

I upgraded from stock 8GB to 16GB flash and it made a drastic improvment in bootup time. Currently using 16GB original Wyse Zx0 Model #: 909603-21L with firmware BZB0_0858_8192. The latest BZB0_7064_16GB image comes with version 3.0S BIOS as part of the image package. The BIOS is auto set to AHCI. I tried switching IDE/AHCI and BZB0_0895_16GB / BZB0_7064_16GB without any success. Thanks for your reply and any assistance you can provide.
