Cannot install Killer-PCIe-Ethernet-Controller-Driver_49G18_WIN_2.3.1516_A22

Support Assist detected new drivers so I went to Dell's website and downloaded them I try to install it ask me to agree to license agreement then ask where to install to ETC. Then  it just stalls nothing happens. There is also a red x when you choose custom by Hardware Drivers. It does not matter custom for normal install it stalls I let it sit for 3 hours.

Support Assist also detected Killer-Wireless-1650-Wi-Fi-Driver_N1JJJ_WIN_2.3.1489_A12_05

And I get this messase.

Why don't someone reply? Has anyone had this issue? I am trying to do the upgrades in Suppoort Assist but it's stalling there also.

@CTG_8273 I don't have Ethernet that requires the Killer driver, but perhaps you could try this from the Killer Networking site: https://support.killernetworking.com/knowledge-base/cannot-be-installed-with-errors/

If that does not help perhaps one of the other Knowledge Base articles on the site could help.

@CTG_8273 Perhaps you could try what appears to be the slightly newer version: http://support.killernetworking.com/software/

@Vic384

Windows defender picks the driver up as malware. I got it downloaded from Dell but it does not install.

I got a PM from @DELL-Cares asked for my service tag. I replied with my service tag. Got a reply back that said my system was out of warranty. It's not out of warranty it is under warranty. @DELL-Cares please check again. Because the drivers will not update and even removing them they still do not update. Thanks

Thanks

@DELL-Jesse L and @Vic384

I just checked device manager I do not have Killer Wireless. Only Killer Ethernet. Why does Support Assist detect I have killer Wireless? You can see in my first post Support Assist detected Killer Wireless. I should have checked device manager earlier I guess. I guess Support Assist is always going to have bugs. Thanks for all the help.

CTG_8273,

What is the error you get when you try to install the driver?

No compatible hardware. But Support Assist finds the driver. I posted the images earlier. I got all updated except the wireless. The wireless is showing no compatible hardware.

And every freaking time I go to the Dell support site I have to freaking log in. I wish it would keep me logged in.

But the support site also finds the driver. I manually download and try to install it I get same response. If I try to install it from  Support Assist it just stalls and does nothing.

@speedstep

I don't know if it was malware or not but defender was blocking it. I notice Defender will block other things that are not malware.

But the issue is good right now I thought my Wireless was Killer but it is Qualcomm QCA9377 802.11ac.

My ethernet is Killer E2400 Gigabit Ethernet Controller.

I just cannot figure out why Support Assist was showing I had the Killer Wireless. See the 3rd image on my first post.
