XPS 625, CPU socket type

Hi

What is the socket type on the XPS 625. Is it a true AM2+ or is it an AM2 with a bios tweak. I am looking to use a Phenom II 920 on it. it is an HDX920XCGIBOX Will this work since it is an AM2+ processor like the Phenom II 940Z that was shipped with the XPS 625 or was that a special version since I can't find a 940Z referred to anywhere but here.

The following forum post will answer that. Note the post by speedstep. However Mary G has a good point as well. That system is getting pretty long in the tooth and you may want to consider replacing it with a new system that can easily handle all the recent software and games.
