In addition to what @JOcean said about making sure the audio isn't disabled in Device Manager, make sure the correct audio output device is selected in Windows 10:

  • Click Start, then click Control Panel.
  • In Control Panel, click Hardware and Sound.
  • Under Sound, click Manage Audio Devices.
  • In the Sound box, click the Playback tab, select the desired output device and click Set as Default.
  • Click OK
  • Reboot

EDIT: Plugged what into USB?

Just to confirm, you plugged the speakers into the port labeled #8 in the panel view on the following page?

EDIT: Also check Device Manager to make sure that the audio device is not disabled. And check to make sure the sound is not muted or turned down. Sorry if this pointing out the obvious, just trying to confirm your actions up to this point.
