7590 battery charged but not working
Running Win11 (only 21H2 but that's another story).
Got the 6-cell 97kwh battery installed since delivery.
Status of battery shows a 97% charge state, but it won't boot, nor continue to run without a power cable connected.
I have tried to disable and enable battery in the device manager, but no change to the problem.
Running the bios diagnostics shows no errors. Note that I'm on a bios version before undervoltage was disabled, but as Win11 do not support it either, so it is not undervolted.
The XPS 7590 is very good at discharging the battery, but it had not reached an alarming low capacity.
Can this problem be fixed?
Will a new battery fix it?

Run a battery report:
Open a command prompt with administrative privilege and type
powercfg /batteryreport
What are the current and design capacity figures for the battery?
Does the system correctly identify the AC adapter, or does it show "unknown" in setup (F2 at powerup)?

Thanx,
In the battery history there has been a continuos degrade of full charge capacity, but a steady design capacity, until the history ends with these figures
The empty rows is probably due to me deactivating the battery in the device manager.
I am currently unable to check the identity of AC adapter in F2, as I have a long running file copy from old NAS to new NAS running.
When design capacity starts to fluctuate I guess a cell or more are dying?
So i guess i'm off for a new battery... and then try to get hold of another problem, the nightly powerdrain - even it should be hibernated - to avoid excessive wear.
