Dell XPS 15 9500 SD Card reader not working
Hey,
the SD Cardreader in my XPS 15 seems to be unfunctional. I manually installed the driver of the Dell website which reported succes. I also ran the Quick Test in the BIOS which did also report no issues.
I also can't find the reader in the device Manager, can someone please assist me?

Realtek Card Reader failed to start again... this time I've uninstalled the driver and software from device manager and installed the official Realtek driver from the Realtek website....

My Card Reader suffered the same and wasn't working. I uninstalled the Dell Realtek driver from Control Panel, went to the device manager uninstalled the Realtek PCIE CardReader driver from Memory technology devices, shut down and re-booted let Windows 10 20H2 build 19042.804 find it again itself without installing the Dell driver package. All now good and working fine again without the Dell driver package! I'm guessing it's a problem with the Dell driver.
