XPS 13 2in1 7th gen CPU (9365) SSD option?

Hi,

I wanna upgrade the SSD of my laptop (9365), there are lots of options out there I'm really confused.

I prefer to upgrade to Samsung 970 EVO plus or pro, but I really don't know do they work for this laptop or not?

please help me in selecting the SSD.

There have been issues with the 970 EVO. Some users reported that it works fine while others , such as this forum post, report compatibility issues. Crucial SSDs seem to be the most compatible while Adata, Western Digital, Seagate, and Corsair also seem to work well. And, depending on the model from those manufacturers, run at the same speed as the 970. Crucial SSD line here. And for comparison other drives here.

I run a Samsung 960 Pro in mine and I run it with the SATA controller disabled in the Bios.  I have a 1 TB 970 PRO in another Dell system and it does not have any problems.

Installing a new drive on Dell Systems can be a little different as they are normally not configured to run in the NVMe configuration.  So how you install the OS will make a difference.
