XPS 13 7390 2-in-1 Failed Ubuntu dualboot renders slow computer after reinstall

XPS 13 7390 2-in-1

Hi,

As title, I tried and failed to install an Ubuntu partition on my XPS, and after I reinstalled windows and managed to get the computer working again it is increadibly slow and gives me systems outages (systemavbrott in swedish) that draw increadibly much CPU capacity.

I spoke with some friends that told me some SSD drives use a partition as a RAM-light, and guessed it might be something wrong with my partitions. Can some one shed some light on this for me. I'm unsure of how a healthy harddrive should look, and would love some help with this.

Don't know if it will help any one but as for now I have those partitions:

ESP
FAT32 500MB

OS
NTFS 459GB

WINRETOOLS
NTFS 1,12GB

Image
NTFS 15GB

DELLSUPPORT
NTFS 1.06GB

unallocated 12,3MB

What procedure did you use to reinstall Windows?

It's some time ago now but I believe I used an external USB stick with the a windows boot on it.

If it was a fully clean install from MS's MCT then there should not be any Dell partitions remaining. Dell provides the factory image for your system for download on their website if that is something you'd like to try.
