XPS 13 9360 Backlight Keyboard not working

I bought my laptop 4 years ago so the warranty has expired already. The backlight never worked from the start and for some reason, I never sent sought help from a professional and decided that I would eventually fix it on my own. Well, 4 years later and my backlight keyboard is still not working properly. Could anyone please shed some light on this? I've updated the drivers and BIOS after reading other posts but it still doesn't work.
