XPS 13 9380 Keyboard stops working

Hi Everyone,

I recently got an XPS 13 9380 and suddenly the touchpad stopped working. The touchpad works for a while on a fresh restart, but on a random close of the lid, the touchpad stops working when it awakens. Luckily I have a touch screen so I can use it but it is annoying. The touchpad works again if I restart my laptop. I tried updating drivers, updating bios, uninstalling and reinstalling drivers. I even installed a fresh instance of Windows on my laptop. I searched everywhere for a solution but I guess the laptop is too new for a solution.

Dell has said they cant help me since I got this laptop as a gift, and the original purchaser put their name on it when I bought it. Unfortunately that person passed away, and I can no longer change the information on Dell. There is warranty on the laptop until March 2020. I am not sure what to do. Please help.
