You can try Dell UK - or locate a Dell parts supplier in the UK. Cost of a board will range between the equivalent of $300 for a low-end i3 CPU to over $500 for an i7, and will increase for discrete video vs. integrated. Either way it's just about certainly the system board that has failed.
thanks for that.. .so, am I able to use my existing CPU etc..? or are they all integrated..? as mine is a i7 quad core, seperate graphics card etc...I'd like to be able to use them if possible... :)
There is no separate GPU or video card - everything but the RAM and drive is soldered to the system board. If the board has failed, the board/CPU/GPU and everything but the RAM and drive need to be replaced -- it's a single unit (which is why the price is so high on an i7 board).
