eSupport Dell Technical Update provides old driver

The technical update email received today suggests I urgently install Nvidia driver which is older than the one I already have, and older than the latest on the Dell website for my XPS 15 9550 Windows 10 64 bit.  Can anyone help me understand the logic please?  The email is below:

Thank you for your response Robert. You are right that the driver refferred to says last update January 2019, however the driver version in my Device Manager shows 23.21.13.9125, which seems to be a later version number than the one for the update which is Version 23.21.13.9065, A14. Isn't the higher number the latest version? Maybe that's where my misunderstanding lies. Thanks again for your assistance.

I "updated" to the one notified, but then received an email referring me to the list of current drivers, and that list includes a later driver updated Feb 19 , which is the one I had before! Go figure!
