Hi all, the Dell Battery Information application says my Alienware 17 R5 has no battery. 

Creation of windows Battery Report provides information and the windows Task Bar reports the battery condition. 

Presume this Dell application wants to use a USB connection to exchange battery information, but that this is somehow not possible. POST, ePSA, SupportAssist troubleshoot tests all pass. Windows Reliability Monitor does not report any USB connection problems. 

Appreciate anyone having encountered similar problem and has a fix to get USB connections working, to post their solution. Thank you.
