migrating data from Windows servers

Question

I have been given the task of migrating data from a windows file server to a NAS. All the CIFS have been set up, so I just mapped a CIFS and the corresponding windows server and attempted to robocopy the data over. The job just hung. Is there an EMC tool that I should use for migrating data from a windows server over to a CIFS?

take a look at document called 'Using EMC utilities for the CIFS environment' located at  Home > Support > Documentation/White Paper Library > Hardware/Platforms > Celerra Network Server > Maintenance/Administrationit talks about using EMC utilities to create shares, copy local user groups etc ..
