Dell Partner GEM Program, Out of Warranty Support Options, BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certificate, Get a copy of your Dell invoiceI'm having the same problem. My fingerprint recognition just suddenly stopped and now Windows Hello says "We couln't find a fingerprint scanner compatible with Windows Hello Fingerprint." and the remove button is greyed out. Biometrics is also missing from the device manager. I have biometrics enabled in group policy settings. When I try to install the Goodix Fingerprint sensor driver downloaded from Dell's support site I get the error "Goodix fingerprint device was not found". I had no problems with it working properly until about a week ago, after the last windows update. I have googles this and tried everything I have found but to no avail. How do I fix this problem?
