Help needed! My reliable laptop worked fine yesterday, but today refused to come on when pressing the power button. I checked everything & tried again - same result. I use the Dell charger as power supply, as the internal battery is dead. The charger is showing 19.5 v DC right up to the laptop connector - so the charger is OK.

Is there any way to bypass the power button, to turn the laptop on? Or any other DiY fix or workaround?

All help & advice much appreciated.

In case I need one, do you have a similar Dell laptop to sell?
