I have a problem where the white stripes flash across my screen randomly but tilting the display/good old smacking it/closing the lid temporarily fixes it or starts it up again... It appears to be some sort of screen refresh issue however during safeboot or UEFI screens it does not happen at all. This has actually happened quite a few times and dell has tried replacing motherboards, display cards, the display itself, the power inlet, wifi card and even the keyboard, they might as well have saved themselves the trouble and given me a whole new laptop... Everytime it fixes it temporarily but it always comes back, I'm sick of calling tech support and my warranty is over...

Could it be something to do with the connector cables for the display? That's pretty much the one thing that has not been replaced by dell when they were trying to fix this problem...
