I have a new XPS 8500 and have some strange behavior with restart and power on. When I turn on the PC I see nothing on the Display until Windows 8 Lock screen. I never see the Dell Logo start. I cannot figure out how to get to the Bios screen. I have tried to hit F2 as soon as I push the power button, and all that does is freeze the system without turning on. I see only the power button lit. I then have to power off with a hold of the power button.

If I install or update something that ask me to restart, or if I select restart, the PC shuts down and then goes to sleep. It does not restart. Again I have to force power off and then power on to get my system to turn back on.

How do I get to the Bios, and once there what options should I look for to fix the restart issue?
