For some reason, my DELL 8300 now boots up and ask for a password (along with username). I've never had this & it always just went directly to the desktop. I therefore am thinking I may have a virus. Other PCs on my network can see the 8300's drives, but I just can't get to its desktop. Some people have suggested booting into safe mode & then I can copy files needed to other connected drives. How do I boot into safe mode on a 8300. I didn't see it on my boot menu when hitting F12. Also, any suggestions on how else I might be able to fix this problem and/or clean a possible virus?
