I apologize up front for my lack of proper terminology.

The bar that includes my power button as well as shows my wireless connection and has touch for control panel and sound, is often flashing the battery symbol three times orangish, then one time white. If the laptop comes unplugged during this the laptop will immediately shut off.

Sometimes if I adjust the power chord, this will stop. I removed the battery and put it back in, but it is still happening. It is important to fix this because my laptop, the XPS 17, the power chord often comes unplugged when it is moved around. Also, it is annoying to look at.
