I have bought a studio 1558 3 weeks ago, I only use  it for surfing, downloading and school work.

In these 3 weeks my laptop "crashed" like 7-9 times. The Laptop doesn't really crash but my screen just freezes, so I can't move the mouse or any thing even ctrl + alt +del won't work either so I only can do a "hard shutdown" by pressing the power on button for a short time.  

It always happen when I'm surfing with Google Chrome and most of the time I'm downloading at the background (with Jdownloader or Chrome via Rapidshare). I read on the forum that some ppl had the same problem but they saw a black screen and it had some thing to do with the cooling of the laptop...

I hear my fan so that won't be the problem, I also tried to install speedfan (just to check the temperatures) and some times when I try to run the program the pc gets stuck (freezes) also.

I only installed the basic programs I use everyday on every other computer so I pretty confident that it isn't my softweare.

Another question: If i install another version of windows 7 does the guarantee of my Laptop drop?
