I recently bought a refurbished Inspiron 7500 without OS. I have installed Win XP but the audio device (multimedia controller) has not been installed. I already tried drivers from ESS without result. Has somebody an idea how to get the soundchip working ? (I think I have an ESS 1878 if that helps)
