u3417w backlight bleed issue

Hello,

I recently purchased a new monitor, u3417w. Overall I am very happy with the display except for backlight bleed I have noticed.

Attached are the photos taken, with brightness set at 65%. Taken from a distance so this is not ips glow. Whereas there is some blb in upper corners I wouldn't consider that an issue. My concern are the lower ones, especially the lower-left, which I can see clearly even in dim daylight. The monitor is marketed as being able to deliver multimedia content and when watching dark scenes in a movie, this is clearly noticeable.

My question is - is this above or below the average for dell ultrawides. If I go for a replacement am I likely to get a more uniform panel?

The batch code next to serial number is A00. Manufacture date October 2016.

Thank you for the answer in advance.
