I originally purchased a Dell 2400 about 4 yrs ago and have used it extensively for Office, net and email. Just recently I purchased a Linksys G  Router and a Dell Inspiron 1520.  I hooked up the Cable Modem, Router and 2400 and am able to access the Internet with both the 2400 and wirelessly with the Laptop. But when I try to join them in a LAN, I get a message that a cable on the Broadcam site is disconnected despite the fact that the diagnostics say everything there is OK. I have checked the connections and feel confident I have hooked everything up according to Linksys.  I would appreciate any help that might be out there. Thank you.
