Go to SolutionLogging server hardware diagnostics test results to file
I'm trying to save the results of a full hardware test run, using the F10 USC/UEFI Hardware Diagnostics "Custom Test" option, to a USB stick. The diagnostic Options frame in the Custom Test window allows a log file name and path to be specified, although it will only accept "G:\" as the drive letter (whether or not a USB stick or other storage device is connected) - if you don't specify the drive letter, it automatically adds it. However, it then does not save, or indeed create, the log file. Can anyone suggest what I might have missed, or does this feature simply not work?
My server is an R210. The diagnostics build version is V5148.3 (as shown in the bottom left corner of the Main Menu). The BIOS version is 1.5.2. The UEFI version is 2.1.
The stick I am trying to use is 2GB, formatted in FAT.
