Hello. I have a 2950 with 4 hard drives (73G, 15K) that are configured into two RAID-1 Arrays giving me two Virtual Disks.  Virtual Disk 0 (Hard Drives 0 and 1) contains my Utility partition and boot sectors.  Virtual Disk 1 (Hard Drives 2 and 3) is simply a data storage drive.

Earlier this week, an unknown error occurred and Hard Drive 1 is showing up in my BIOS configuration manager as "Missing" and the container for Hard Drive 1 is now showing up as "Foreign."  There was no flashing amber light to indicate that anything was physically wrong.  Further, the RAID Array for Virtual Disk 0 has somehow gone from RAID-1 to RAID-0.  The server will no longer boot and the Utility partition is no longer available.

One of my clients needs the data that is stored on Virtual Disk 1, which according to the BIOS configuration manager is still intact.  Barring some way of retrieving that data with some third party software or process, my question is: Is it possible to reimage this server while leaving Virtual Disk 1 intact so that it can be read by the new operating system?
