restricting a user view on the map console

is it possible to create a user to view only certain elements or devices with the map console. I know it can be done with the notification list but not sure of the map console.

there are 2 ways to do it, not really good ones or ideal.One is configuring a kind of Hierarchical domains ... so you will have differente domains for each map, and you can have a super SAM on top of them.Another way is filtering by kind of device and ip/name, etc ... and then save it as console.As i said none of them are ideal because if you have lots of devices and lots of different maps, make life difficulthope this helps, otherwise i`ll try to explain more in deepFernando

thanks how do i configure domains for each map the problem we have is that when the view is restricted with a user account associated with a profile when the map is shown on the left hand side we have topology browser which displays everything that is in smarts which we don,t want we are a service provider we want our customer to access only thier routers and also able to view thier routers and also with the topology browser only browse their devices.the second options of filter and save as a console i am not sure it will work. as this has nothing to do with the map
