I have a E1505 and I also bought the XP restore disk.

 

Therefore, I was wondering if I can delete and reformat Dell's Restore Partition and use it for a 5G "D" drive.

 

Is this a practical thing to do?

 

I've heard that I might need to fix the Media Direct partition this. Is there any other considerations?  

 

Could I do all this through XP's Disk Management tool?

 

Any comments or procedures for this would be appreciated.
