A neighbor of mine downloaded two "tools" to try to ge rid of some malware.  As I have never heard of either, I am worried he compounded his problem.  They are Spyware Nuker and PC Guard.  I googled spyware nuker and it looks like there may be 2 versions ??? Symantec has cleanup instructions for SpywareNuker from www.spywarenuker.com. His is from  www.nuker.com and has a download.com blurb on it to make it seem ok, but both sites really look similar to me.  I am pretty sure that PC Guard is a bag guy.

 

Can anyone confirm the validity or danger of either or both of these products?
