Help- how do I load the ASR disk w/o a floppy drive?

We have several new SX270s; a major problem is how to create & use the Automated System Recovery floppy disk.  If you use the bootable XP Pro CD, you can't switch drives to the floppy drive since it's already (logically, not physically) there.  So how do you load the ASR disk when prompted by XP's ASR?  I can't use Veritas' NetBackup Professional's Disaster Recovery options now since I can't seem to have both floppy & CD simultaneously?

Dell, how do I get around this?  Do you have a combo slimline CD/Floppy drive I can order instead of the separate options?  Is there a special option to connect the floppy drive through a USB cable?  My users love the small form factor, but if there isn't a resolution to this, I guess I'll have to go back to the bigger chassis.
