Reinstallation question
So my computer has been kinda glitchy lately and after a long convo a microsoft forum we came to the conclusion that the only way left to fix it is to do a clean install. Now my comp is a dell so no one surprisingly could give me help on how to do the reinstall. I have seen Step by steps on this site on how to do it but im a little shakey on if i can complete it. First question- my comp was given to me by my grandma (used) so i dont know if the dvds she gave with it are all i need for the comp or not. The dvds i have are an "operating system" reinstallation dvd, a "drivers and user documentation" and a "drivers and utilities" dvd. Is this all i need to reinstall my computer or am i missing something? Second question- am i going to need any product keys or anything like a code for any steps along the way? The only thing i know i have is the product key thats on top of the computer, will that be enough? Final question- is backing up my computer optional? Bevause there arnt a whole lot of personal files that i need but is there any important computer data that i need to back up or will the reinstallation dvds cover all that stuff? Thank you
