hello all,

 

I have a brand new inspiron 1720 with Vista Home Premium; I live in Germany so purchased it here, though it has English (US) specifications.

 

Ripping in WMP was fine for a few days, then became so slow that one CD could take in excess of twelve hours!

 

With my German System tag, I am always directed to Dell Deutchland for help. My German is terrible, so it is very difficult to communicate my problem. however, they made a suggestion of downloading a different ripping program. I downloaded MediaMonkey, but this doesn't work either. It tells me that there is no free space on my computer. there is loads of free space.

 

Anyone have any ideas what my problem is?!
