I have been having a very difficult time installing Windows Xp on my computer.  I have done a full format.  The setup disk works fine until file installation after format.   Setup tries to install files after format and it is succesful up until 11% complete it tells me that the file cannot be installed.   I cannot remember the file (I think rhaps.exe).  Anyway the I get a message to (retry , skip this file, or exit).  Retry does nothing but bring the message up again.  I can skip that particular file but none of the files after that file will install either.  Anyone have this problem before?  Does it sound like a hard drive gone bad?  I really would like to get this going again without buying another computer or HD.  Can anyone help?
