Aurora R9, restore driver issue
I recently had an issues with my pc, having to install a new hard drive. However, when preforming the restore after creating the USB, I've run into some odd glitches not allowing me to install drivers or drivers not working with the pc.
How can I get a factory copy back onto the new hard drive?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: restore
original factor configuration may not be up to date given R9 was released August 2019. you have another option to do a fresh clean install of Windows 10 which includes wiping the hdd (deleting partitions and formatting). afterwards go on R9 support page to download and install the AWCC. Most essential drivers will be automatically downloaded and installed by Windows clean install. It even installs the graphics card driver for you.

I am not sure how you performed the restore, but the best way to ensure it is back to factory standards is to use the DELL operating system recovery image system, that will create a custom USB drive that will install the original R9 factory image on your R9.
This will ensure it is back in the state as it was delivered, operating system wise.

Currently with the latest version of windows 10 / 11, the dell drivers for the R9 device will not recognize that this is a dell or alienware machine.
So installing drives constantly fail, I was able to run a script to change some of the pc's settings to tell it what it iis but still some apps will not install or update properly or just fail to work.
Looking for a way to get a original hdd with recovery lily preinstalled with factory image of windows, or a way to download that. every time I restore it only gives me the option to install a fresh copy of windows and update.

This should work? Recovery Tool
If you manually enter your service tag, it should grab the factory image and create installation media to restore your PC back to it's original factory state.
If the Dell Operating System Recovery Tool shows this error or does not recognize the Service Tag of your Dell computer, contact Dell Technical Support for further assistance.
