AW3821DW, doesnt work for PS5?
Hey folks,
I have an pretty weird problem with my Dell AW3821DW
When I use it using my PS5 it doesnt work. But when I use it for my PC it works. The PS5 works with different monitors with the same HDMI cable, so I dont think there is the problem.
Does somebody know this issue and can help me with it?

According to Dell’s official console‑compatibility docs, the AW3821DW supports PS5 at:
1920×1080 @ 60 Hz and 120 Hz
2560×1440 @ 60 Hz and 120 Hz
3840×2160 (4K) @ 60 Hz and 120 Hz (with HDR and VRR under certain conditions) <Link to 000187148 is broken. DELL-Admin>
However, there are two big caveats specific to this monitor:
It’s an ultrawide (3840×1600, ~21:9), but the PS5 does not output ultrawide resolutions; it sticks to standard 16:9 modes (1080p, 1440p, 4K).galaxus+2
User reports specifically for the AW3821DW + PS5 say you’ll typically get a 1080p image with black bars
