Forza Motorsport 7 redeem problem

For days I've  tried everything. Ms support dell support and again. Link is not working, there is nothing to get or redeem in my library! So im waiting for a proper solution, a redeemable code or refund for £50 so i can buy one for myself. Moderators please don't close this topic im coming back here and keep on calling till someone sorts this out for me!

I am glad it's working for some, How dumb is this problem? back in the day the computers came with the disc, I understand that isn't possible now as there are no optical drives but how hard would it have been to include a code IN THE BOX???

Apparently hard. 

I am glad it is a workable problem though, **bleep** we have to jump through hoops like a circus monkey to get the game we were promised.

7 weeks down the line and the problem is still not resolved. Dell should be ashamed of themselves. I have been out of the country for 6 weeks but received an email from Customer Care while I was away giving me a number to call for Dell Technical Support and saying that they would now be handling all Forza 7 issues and would resolve my problem.  I called the number this morning. Technical support knew nothing about the problem so I wasted another hour of my time in explaining what had happened and what should have happened to a hardware tech and then a software tech. The rep I spoke to at first was much more interested in trying to sell me an upgraded warranty than it getting my problem resolved, while the 2nd rep wanted me to let him reinstall Windows 10. I am definitely not going to lose all my installed programs and data over a failed game installation!

Finally after all this wasted time and after I sent an email to Michael Dell, I spoke to Prateek Nayak who knew exactly what the problem was/is and has promised to resolve it for me. He tells me that full instructions on how to resolve the issue were sent to Dell Technical Support a week ago but the 2 technical support reps I spoke to this morning very obviously knew nothing about it. I will report back here with any further information that I can glean. I am very pleased that I refused to allow them to reinstall Windows 10 this morning as it would not have resolved the issue in any case and I would have yet more wasted hours ahead of me to reinstall my programs and data.

I have now received a code from Microsoft and the game is now downloading. I have wasted an unbelievable amount of time on this issue! I doubt that I will ever forgive Dell or Microsoft for this..

Thanks to @Alienware-Eimy i have also got the code and the game has been downloaded.

One thing i wanted to ask was since so many of us are having problems can Dell not force Microsoft to compensate us for all this hassle by giving us the code for the delux edition or the ultimate edition instead of the standard edition of the game?

I think that Dell is more to blame than Microsoft. If they had organised the promotion to use a redeem code in the first place we would not have had all this hassle. Communication between Customer Care, Technical Support & Microsoft Technical Support should have been much better too. The problem never was fixable by Technical Support so why make us endure hours on the phone while they tried out useless "fixes" some of which were guaranteed to cause us even more problems and wasted time?
