Alienware 17 R3 will not boot. Three Beeps and Blank Screen.

Well finally got time to actually turn on my new Alienware R3 With Windows 10 factory fresh and when I

turned it on I get 3 beeps, a short pause, and 3 beeps over and over, plus the screen is blank.

I read that means a memory problem?

Eimy

Please send me a copy of our invoice slip.

There is no link to click on and blank spaces to

actually show we received this DOA unit.

Thank you

Hi Eimy,

Actually I don't need an invoice slip.

I didn't sign for a Dead computer, I signed for a working computer.

If the box was damaged I would not have signed for it.

How could I know the computer inside the box was damaged until I turned it on?

I have important things to do and this is taking time away from them.

I need to get some sleep and be at the Doctors in less then 5 hours.

Why Dell expects us to go through this is beyond me.

Let us know

Thank you

We don't need you to send a box with a return label for us  to send the system to your repair facilities so they can FIX it.

What we do want is a box with a return Pre-Paid label  that comes IN the Box for us to send back this

broken DOA computer and send us a brand new one that works!

The word want meaning that is what we were told on the phone and emails.

It the answer is no, then we will provide proof.

Let us know.

Would have been best to call 1800-ALIENWARE to speak to a person. Try that now and ask to return it for a full refund. Don't take no for an answer. If they refuse and you paid by credit card call them and dispute the charges, then file a BBB complaint. You don't deserve a brand new computer that is defective, or worthless technical support. There is no excuse for this.

To Mr. Fox

No, forced to repair a brand new DOA high end R3 before an exchange.

Meanwhile still making payments for two years of going through this.

BTW was so tired I didn't see your post and this old PC needs a fresh OS install

so it's a bit glitchy

Yes that is the correct solution, but it seems right after I HAD to renew my warrenty all

*** broke loose for a simple exchange..
