Order processing and delivery times.

Mine is on the move !!! Just refreshed and it reads "Shipped" just know that it's sleep deprevation time for the next 48 hrs. Lol.

I ordered from a site once and it kept you updated on what was being done during progress, shame dell doesnt have that too!

Mine gone to shipped from factory too xD They won't courier it over the weekend so I guess I have to wait till Monday. I agree Dell should have a more accurate 'status update' system. The order status for my monitor stil hasnt shifted to delivered and it turned up three days ago. It still says its not due for 2 weeks!

I have a question for those who already receieved their pc. Once you got the email confirming the date the delivery would arrive, was it bang on that date or?

Hi F311 ;      Mine arrived several days early. ( and in MY case the updates for the tracking via courier were detailed and accurate in/out  in/out in/out etc. "Won't be long now" ;)

Several days earlier than the couriers date or dells date?

earlier than Dell's projected date and the Courier website was refreshed and updated apparently LIVE when it was scanned into and out of several different depots. Once issued locally for delivery there passed several hours until the van arrived at the door :)

Some of you guys are waiting a long time for your machines, I'd have thought the volume of orders in europe and usa would make the arrival times faster, I'm in australia and recently ordered a M18x R2, from inital telephone purchase the whole process took less than 10 days before it was delivered to my door.

And maybe a quick word of advice, wipe the HDD and do a fresh install of drivers and OS - Dell install a factory image onto all their computers, it has EVERY driver for EVERY option that model come out with, for example, new M18x R2 laptops have both nvidia and AMD drivers installed at the same time, less chance of conflict further down the road if everything is re-installed, also gives you the benefit of possibly updated drivers - just dont use the resource dvd provided by dell, it's probably outdated, download from the website with a service tag

I'm in the UK, for some reason the system is coming all the way Poland :-s No wonder it's taking ages to deliver.

Say's it arrived in Tamworth today, which is a 2 hour drive away....yet says it wont arrive till Tuesday, booo :(

I got mine last monday, 2 days earlier than expected - it left china the day before it got to me. Amazing delivery speed and the tracking website was very accurate.

Side note - Skyrim is flippin amazing in 3d
