Hey @Haruna Alama
Can you please elaborate. I am not good with tech. I have contacted the Service Stores but id like to understand the problem better. Its a 3-2-1 Beep code and the light on the power button goes
2 times Red and then 7 times Blue. Which according to the manual is a Display Failure.
Please help me.

@ejn63 Thank you for taking the time to respond. I shall try out the method once again. Already tried doing it once with D key and the Fn Key. But nothing happened.
Any other estimations as to what could be the problem. What does the 3-2-1 Beep sequence mean?
Is it a fixable issue? Will my laptop be alright. I am getting paranoid
Any idea as to the cost estimate to get either of the problems fixed?
Thank you.

Power on, holding the D key. That should initiate a series of screen tests (you should see solid color and pattered images on the display). If you do not, chances are the display is faulty and will need to be replaced.
If you do see the display test correctly, then:
You'll need to disassemble the system to check the wiring harness that connects the display to the mainboard. Look for damage along the length of the cable, and disconnect and reconnect the cable (at both ends, if it's not a a touchscreen).

Check Your display connections. That solved the problem for me.

@ejn63 i i think youre right. The 2,7 Blinks as suggested by the Service manual indicates a Display Failure.
Even DCF suggests a Display Failure.
But i am concerned about the 3-2-1 Beeps. Could it mean 6 beeps indicating a Video Chip failure? Or does 3-2-1 Beeps mean something else?
Sorry im just paranoid. Thank you for the time you took to help me

If it needs a screen replacement, depending on the resolution between $100-200 for the part, plus labor if you don't install it yourself.

I don't see any reference to beep codes in the service manual for this model - just the blink codes.
I think you won't know what's up with the system until you replace the screen.

i highly recommend sending your Alienware to a professional or sending it to dell for repair although it would be more expensive but its probably the safest option and i doubt it has anything to do with the motherboard. Good luck!

@Haruna Alama @ejn63 @Thanks a lot for your help. Im taking it to a Dell Service Center nearby. I feel a lot better hearing it may not be a Motherboard Issue.
I shall keep you posted if i have any more doubts. Thanks a lot for the help.

@ejn63 I Know right. Even i couldn't find any reference to the 3-2-1 beep codes. So i was concerned. i dont mind if its a display issue. Can be Easily fixed.
But my concern is if its a Motherboard problem (coz 3 beeps) or if its a Video Chip or GPU problem (coz 3+2+1 = 6 beeps). Then it would be problematic and expensive.
But thanks a lot for your help! I shall be taking it to the Service Center.

@Haruna Alama Im too scared open the back and mess around nor do i i have the equipment to do it. But i surely will check it out once i diagnose it at a service center.
My acquaintance had a similar issue of screen blacking out but everything else (lights fans etc) on. And he had to replace the Motherboard. Which is my biggest fear. Hope its just a screen issue and is fixed.
Thank you so much for the help.

If the screen does need to be replaced, it will be less expensive than a 17" panel. That said, you either start replacing parts yourself, or find a trusted local repair shop to diagnose and repair the system.
