Hi all,

Recently my touchpad the LED has stopped working. I noticed it a few days ago and been trying to see what I can do to figure it out. This is the Core i7 6700HQ w/GTX 1070 flavor.  

The other keyboard LED are working as is all the surrounding LED on the chassis. I kind of miss the touchpad lighting up. What can I do? Do I need to do a full touchpad replacement? 

Things I have tried:

Reinstalling Alienware AlienFX

Ran the AlienFX tester thing, all the other lights work perfectly, the touchpad does not

Changing the touchpad backlight option in the BIOS from Auto to On and back again

Disconnecting my mouse and powering up the system

"drain the power" - you know the hold power button for 20 seconds with wall power / battery disconnected to discharge anything still left
