17 R5, error 2000-0511

Hello
I need a solution ASAP since I need the pc for work 
I get this error at startup

Error Code: 2000-0511
Validation:130521
Fan - The CPU fan failed to respond correctly

I need a solution from the dell support or a change in the hardware as soon as possible

In the future do not post a tag number as that could be a security risk for you. That error is a fan problem, as you already know. If the system is under warranty call Dell tech support for your region. Otherwise click on the following post for more information and help.And follow the procedures for running diagnostics in the post.

I have the same error on a 17R5 as well. What do i do? AWCC shows the fans at 0% all the time.

was your issue fixed? I have the same problem now. I dont wanna pay a lot of money and get back my comp with the same problem
