17 R5, Nvidia Control Panel missing

I have an Alienware M17 R5, GTX 1060 6 GB, i7-8750H, 16 GB RAM and the NVIDIA Control Panel is completely missing from my system. I have tried installing fresh drivers, reinstalling the current updates, going back to a previous driver update, restarting NVIDIA services, tried to manually launch through the Program Files but the Control Panel Client folder is completely missing from the NVIDIA Corporation folder. I have attempted to download the Control Panel through the Microsoft Store but I get an error every time I try to install (Code: 0x80073D21 - this is that the app must be installed on a system drive but I am trying to install it on my system drive and it won't let me);I have tried to unhide the NVIDIA Control Panel from the actual Control Panel but it doesn't show up in there either.

This has been going on since I got the computer about a year ago and I have been attempting to troubleshoot it myself since but every "Solution" I find is "install the app from the Microsoft store" which DOES NOT work.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

SOLVED: Spoke to an NVIDIA chat rep and my issue was that I did not have my Windows 10 setting for default location of application installs set to the same drive as what my driver was on. As soon as I changed this and clicked install in the Windows store the control panel installed and is ready to go. Hope this helps someone out as all of the other solutions did not work for me.

Welcome to the Dell Community  @tmac1313

Glad you found a solution.

"This needs to be installed on a system drive"

"Publisher doesn't allow this app to be moved"

"They must reside on the same drive"

Best regards,
