Area-51m R2, LCD light leaking, speaker fault

Only a month after I bought my laptop, I found a light leaking on the screen and a faulty left speaker!

Hi @alvinkcs1314  welcome to this user to user forum. This is not Dell Support. 

Please Run the LCD Built-in Self-Test (BIST) and take photographs as proof of this fault. If the left speaker fault is audible, use the Win10 audio recorder to create audio file as proof of this fault. Have a good look at the Area-51m R2 and note all the other major/minor faults. Then contact Dell Order Support, present your evidence and request a new replacement system or a full refund. Expect to be told you are not eligible and request escalation to the next tier in the formal complaints process. Keep requesting escalation to the next tier, to reach the tier level that can authorise your requested remedy.

Your new Area-51 R2 continues to be under first year Dell Warranty and as part of your purchase you have already paid for these problems to be fixed by Dell Product Support. Please use your Dell Account to raise a fault ticket so that Dell Product Support are informed of this problem and will make contact to fix this Area-51 R2 problem.
