Gap between screen and the outer case

As you can see, there are two gaps on the upper edge of the screen.

1. Will dust come in through this gap and damage the screen? if so, I might need to use tape to seal it

2.Will the upper case peal off? If so, I have to ask for customer service to fix it.

It won’t peel off for a fact. The dust won’t enter the display casing because I have the same thing as you. I left it in a dusty room for testing and it never had the dust enter it.

between upper case and side case there is no obvious gap, so I hope nothing will peel off :)))))

It's your choice, but with a brand-new system this defect would have me returning it for replacement.

I've used it for ten months so returning for replacement is not a choice.

Thank you for your answer. So it's just a minor issue right?

Alright then, but I will seal the gap with tape just in case.

Make sure it’s tape that matches your screen back color if you want a seem less finish.

haha true, but when I have time I still gonna contact customer center and fix it.

BTW, is your computer which shared the same minor problem as mine also a M15 R2? or R1?

Alright, I took a look at R3 review, it basically used the same model except better hardware. So ur experience should work for mine.

Again, thank you for ur help.
