How to switch off display (light off) on Alienware 17R2?
Good day,
Sometimes I need to swith off my display on laptop, on some models there is button wich working in combination
FN + random F, F9 for example
But I got keyboard like this
https://3dnews.ru/assets/external/illustrations/2015/12/03/924581/photo_38.jpg
and there is no any button to switch off display...option to wait until display switch off automatically (Windows, display settings etc.) does not suit for me, so is there any another option to switch off display "by button"?
I've got 5x3 + 4 keys for macros, so mabye it's possible to write some macro for switching off display?
Thanks in advance

Hi @astral077,
There's no easy way to do that.
Check this.

Thanks for answer, actually it works, but not for me :(
All options in link are working (last one with Nircmd i didn't try), but in case of mouse movement or keyboard tapping it's light on
I think it's possible to buy HDMI emulator and use FN + F8 combination to transfer image and make "black screen" effect
But, anyway, mabye for somebody it will be useful!
