m15 R5, AlienFX/lights keep breaking
It looks like every time I update AWCC, controlling the lights (keyboard, alien head, tron) through Fn+F7 keeps breaking. I found an answer here where I needed to uninstall AWCC using Revo uninstaller and that worked, but is quite the hassle. Recently had an update to Windows 11 and of course, Fn+F7 is broken again. I don't want to uninstall-install AWCC again since I've already made a few custom fan and audio profiles which I will have to create again for the nth time. Is there any other way of fixing this without uninstalling and reinstalling AWCC? This is getting frustrating.

Hi @crimsom, thanks for the input. My bad for not following AWCC installation instructions. Though my main concern is the Fn+F7 control breaking after a seemingly unrelated Windows 11 update. I've received a PM from Dell-Cares and unfortunately they say if it breaks after a Windows 11 update, the only solution is to reinstall AWCC. Obviously won't be installing AWCC updates from now on unless there's something critical.

Hi @SN-KG the AWCC installation instructions say remove the old AWCC before installing the AWCC update. Revo Uninstaller Free is the most reliable process to completely remove AWCC and all its legacy remnants. You should ask yourself, is it really necessary to keep installing AWCC updates, just because there is an AWCC update?
